Malibu Pier • John Elwell Collection

$85.00$165.00

This photo taken in the late 1940s shows the iconic pier at California’s legendary surf spot, the Malibu pier, originally built in 1905 to support operations of the Rindge family’s Malibu Rancho. But surfers were denied access to the waves until 1929, after which the peeling point break soon became known as the best wave on the coast. Photo: John Elwell Collection
