Joe Quigg · Design Alternatives
About the Exhibit
This Fall we feature one of surfing’s great unsung heroes, Joe Quigg. Quigg was instrumental in modernizing surfboard design, taking boards from planks to shapes similar to those being ridden today. The exhibit showcases Quigg’s various contributions to surfboards, fins and outrigger canoe designs, through stories, photos and interviews with Quigg himself. Now on display through the end of the year.
This exhibit was made possible in part through the generous support of John Mazza, Founder of the Malibu Surfing Museum at Pepperdine.
